The DLSU-Dasma volleyball men defeated the University of St. La Salle - Bacolod in straight sets and earned the right to play in the finals of the 12th Philippine University Games againts the defending champion Far Eastern University tomorrow (Oct 28) at 1:30pm.

It has been another good day for our athletes here in Bacolod. Our athletics team was able to get hold of its first gold medal through Mr. Leonardo Rosco from the Javelin throw event; a silver and a bronze were also added to yesterday's medal count.
Our Volleyball men (3-1) team won over Consolacion Purisima College-Capiz (0-4) in four sets; unfortunately, it lost track of its luck with Adamson (2-2) in four sets. Despite the loss, our volleyball men team advanced to the quarter finals(magic 8) againts De La Salle-Lipa. That match will determine the winner who will play against the winner of the game between the University of St. La Salle and the University of Perpertual Help System in the semifinals.

Yesterday was a good day for the Patriots. Our athletics team earned two
bronze medals. Our volleyball men (2-0) won over UCAA champion, St. Francis (2-1), with a four-set victory.
Tomorrow (Oct. 25), the athletics team has high hopes in getting the gold in the
last day of the track and field action. The volleyball men patriots will then play
two games as they set an end to the elimination round. Here is the schedule:

The 12th University Games commenced last Oct. 22 in the University of St. La Salle, Bacolod City. On the first day of DLSU-Dasmariñas UNIGAMES action, our Volleyball Men Patriots (1-0) emerged victorious against the Foundation University - Dumaguete
(0-2) in straight sets.
October 24 will be another big day for the Patriots as our athletics men and women teams would endeavour to snatch the gold medals from some members of the Philippine athletics team. The volleyball men patriots will once again meet the hailed UCAA champion, St.
Francis of Asissi College (2-0)set at 2:15pm. Will it be payback time or not? That for sure is what spectators await.
