The Electrical Engineering Society of La Salle (TESLA)
The Electrical Engineering Society of La Salle (TESLA) is a newly accredited co-curricular organization for Electrical Engineering students in De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
TESLA aims not just to enhance and support the academic development of Electrical Engineering students, but to develop them into well integrated individuals as well through the various activities conducted by the organization in preparation for their future careers.
TESLA aspires to achieve the following:
To cultivate camaraderie among electrical engineering students in the university.
To instil in the minds and hearts of each member, the deep sense of discipline and commitment to the quest of learning about the field of electrical engineering.
To develop well – integrated individuals.
To provide academic enrichment to electrical engineering students through the various activities and events that will be conducted by the organization.
To promote the course by showing the vast career opportunities of electrical engineers, which include careers in the power, electronics, and computer industries.
To promote awareness on the need to save energy and showcase the different ways electrical engineers are contributing to accomplish this goal.
To work together with the College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology (CEAT), other CEAT organizations, and the CEAT Student Council in any activities that would benefit Electrical Engineering students and other students within the college.
To work together with external establishments and the national organization for electrical engineers, and the Institute for Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, or IIEE, the ally of the organization in events such as conventions and competitions.
