The De La Salle University – Dasmariñas Chorale is a pioneer institutional Performing Arts organization under the Cultural Arts Office. After its formation in 1988 and stabilization in 1996, the group is now composed of 22 students from different colleges headed by Mr. Vell Luis Litan, a professional choral trainer and conductor. DLSU-D Chorale regularly conducts trainings, rehearsals and various workshops throughout the year.
The group produces musical presentations annually and performs in diverse institutional functions, as well as outside the school in Choral Festivals, competitions and other external events. All these are in the group’s mission to creatively share insights with the audience at large, that music is at the very core of one’s existence. As the university’s sole institutional advocate of the arts through vocal-choral music, culture and arts are delivered in an entertaining and educational romp designed to suit the taste of its varied audience.
