Web Unit to launch new student portal

With new features and a fresher more innovative look, the new student portal will be launched by the Web Unit this coming school year.

The new student version presents new features like my.curriculum which contains the full listing of subjects to be taken by the student, my.enrolment allows the students to enroll online, detailed my.assess which now lists the details of other fees and miscellaneous fees, and my.ecash which now covers a variety of services. The portal also boasts of improved security features to ensure that information are always kept guarded. [more]

The online prepaid system, originally developed as a mini electronic wallet for payment of library fines and charges, has recently been improved to cover more services courtesy of the Information Systems Unit. [more]

Network team enhances internet access

As the demand of the community for faster internet access becomes more pressing, the network group is quick in addressing this need by installing additional E1 connection to make more bandwidth available.  This was installed at Mariano ALvarez Hall and at Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo.  [more]


IS Unit beefs up HRIS

The Information Systems (IS) Unit is currently beefing up one of its major undertakings this year – the Human Resource Information System which aims to manage the records of all employees in the university. The development of the system’s second phase is now in full swing, incorporating several modules. This system will eventually cater to the needs of the university in terms of human resources, payroll, management, and other accounting functions. [more]
