As part of the Clean-up Month this September and in preparation for the Health Awareness Month, the Environmental Resource Management Center supports the Department of Health's Information Campaign against Dengue H- Fever. With the alarming cases recently, health authorities cautioned that the perils of dengue could last until October; hence, massive campaign is still being done. Currently, the Department of Health uses the 4s approach: "search and destroy breeding sites, self-protection measures, seek early treatment and say "no" to indiscriminate fogging" (Mediavilla, S. , 2006).
