   Faculty and staff in action

AEA Disaster Management Group representative Alfredo Vinoya attended training course on Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support with CPR at Severino Delas Alas Auditorium on April 8-11.

This training course not only taught the participants general information about what to do in case of an emergency but trained them a number of life saving techniques including Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation or proper lung/heart revival.

The project is part of the Committee’s disaster preparedness strengthening measures and was conducted in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross and DLSU-D Mountaineering Society.

Audiovisual Technician Eden Fabella served as one of official photographers during DLSU-D Grand Alumni Homecoming 2008 at Ugnayang La Salle on April 26. Fabella is also an alumnae of DLSU-D.

Reynaldo Peñalba, Kabalikat ng DLSU-D (KND) vice president and Reference and Information Section support staff, participated in the KND Executive Board year-end workshop and culminating activity on April 28-30 at the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology Conference Room and at Josephine’s Water Camp, respectively. Evaluation of activities and projects for schoolyear 2007-2008, review of duties and responsibilities of the board and officers, identification of issues and concerns of the organization, and preparation of plans and programs for the coming schoolyear were the highlights of the activity.

AEA Director Sonia Gementiza, along with library unit heads Joebert De Paz, Mary Ann Estudillo, Mary Ann Jimenez-Salvador, Arlene Manzo, and Sharon Samaniego, joined in Administrators Recreation and Relaxation activity at Wonder Island Resort in Calamba, Laguna on May 14.
