LAD launches books on language and literature

To recognize the valuable efforts of its faculty members
and to introduce their works to the academic community,
the Languages Department (LAD) in cooperation with the
Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo will hold a book launching on
February 9 at the Luis Aguado Viewing Room.

Books to be launched are Pagpapahalagang Sining sa
Filipino (Jose Arrogante), Retorika Sa Mabisang
Pagpapahayag (Jose Arrogante), Pinaunlad na Pagbasa at
Pagsulat (Jose Arrogante, Nathaniel Golla, Angelica Honor-
Ballena) and Philippine Literature: A Regional Approach
(Delia Enriquez).

On the same occasion, College of Liberal Arts Dean Aquino
Garcia and LAD Chair Constantino Ballena will likewise
present books written by Dr. Lakandupil Garcia (Retorika,
Sining ng Komunikasyon and Pilipino sa Iba’t-ibang Disiplina)
and Dr. Myrna Torreliza (Ang Sunshine ng Tala, Retorikang
Filipino (FILI II), Retorikang Filipino (FILI III), Sining ng
Komunikasyon Pandalubhasaan, Pandalubhasaan Sining ng
Komunikasyon and Panitikang Pilipino at Rizal).

The book launching will be held as a part of the Language
and Literature Festival activities.
