In celebration of Marian month, the Campus Ministry Office
and Museo De La Salle sponsored a special Holy Mass and
procession, October 3.

A thirty-minute Marian discourse, a talk on anything and
everything about the Blessed Virgin Mary, which preceded
the Eucharistic Celebration, was given by Campus Ministry
Director Cris Alonsozana. The mass, which was officiated
by University Chaplain Fr. Ed Tibayan, was attended by
students, faculty, staff and administrators.

Immediately after, the Marian procession in honor of the
Our Lady of the Holy Rosary commenced at the East
Campus.

The Kapatiran ng Bagong Lakas ng Isipan, Kaunlaran at
Tatag (KABALIKAT) will hold its annual sportsfest entitled
Tagisan ng Lakas at the Palaruang La Salle, October 16.

More than 200 members of the support staff, divided into
six teams, will participate in various games and
tournaments which include basketball, fun run, soccer
race, track and field, tug-of-war and volleyball. Cash
prizes await the winning teams.

Nolasco Bayalan, chairman of the KABALIKAT Sports
Committee hopes that this year’s sportsfest will be a
success just like in the previous years.

The 8th UNIGAMES, which will run from October 22-29,
will be all over Dasmariñas and Imus. Aside from De La
Salle University-Dasmariñas, other venues are Philippine
Christian University-Dasmariñas, Town and Country
Dasmariñas, First Cavite Industrial Estate in Langkaan and
The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Imus.

This year’s UNIGAMES will feature major and minor events.
Major events include basketball (men’s division only),
volleyball, football, athletics and swimming (both men and
women’s division). Minor events include table tennis, lawn
tennis, badminton, taekwondo and chess (both men and
