blessing rites

October 20 marks the blessing of the university’s much
improved sports facilities such as the Grandstand,
Palaruang La Salle and the electrical sub-station.

University Chaplain Rev. Fr. Edwin Tibayan will officiate the
blessing rites, while Executive Vice President Dr. Herminia
Torres will deliver the message of thanks.

Lasallian brothers, contractors, members of the Operations
and the Academic councils and representatives from the
different sectors of the DLSU-D community will attend the
ceremony at the Grandstand.

trade fair

The Lasallian Community Development Center and the
College of Business Administration will host an eight-day
trade fair and exhibit along the West Avenue and the open
court near the College of Engineering and Technology on
October 22-29.

The trade fair aims to promote the different products of
Cavite through the efforts of the different partner
communities of the Business Skills Development Resource
Center and DLSU-D. The featured products include food,
crafts, clothing and herbal products. Coca-Cola Bottlers,
Philippines will provide the booths for the fair.

This activity coincides with the 8th UNIGAMES.
