The Kapatiran ng Bagong Lakas ng Isipan, Kaunlaran at
Tatag (KABALIKAT) canteen transferred to the canteen
plaza while its office moved to the Materials and
Reproduction Office on November 15.The Don Placido Hall
that used to house the Kabalikat canteen and office will
be demolished to give way to the new building of the
College of Engineering and Technology. The Kabalikat
canteen and office will finally move to their permanent
location in the new building upon its completion early next
year.

GS corner

The Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo created a new corner for the
students of the Graduate School of Education, Arts and
Sciences and the Graduate School of Business. The corner,
which has five computer units with internet connection,
also has five carrels for reading and research purposes.A
graduate student who intends to use the corner’s facilities
should surrender his/her validated ID at the Social Science
Section and sign on the logbook located at the said
section.Further, a graduate student may request for
printing services from the Electronic Resource Services
provided that he/she has paid the printing fee at the
Accounting office.

school leadership II

On November 29, the Center for Multidisciplinary Research
and Linkages (CMRLink) of the Graduate School of
Education, Arts and Sciences will hold its second Research
Symposium on School Leadership. Vice President for
Academics Dr. Myrna Ramos will deliver the talk on the
said topic at the Bulwagang Jose Basa.Following
Dr. Ramos’ talk, two researchers Dr. Alvin Crudo, dean of
the College of Medical Radiologic Technology of the Health
Science Campus and Dr. Bernardo Mascariñas, faculty of
the College of Education will present their papers.This
activity will be undertaken as part of CMRLinks’ series of
faculty lectures to further enhance the research culture of
the university.

The annual physical examination for all HMI members is
scheduled on November 17-21 at the East Clinic
(JFH 108). The members’ dependents will be
accommodated on the last day.

Everyone is requested to come on his/her scheduled date.
