testimonial dinner

A testimonial dinner will be held in honor of the 2003 board
passers from the College of Education and the College of
Law Enforcement Administration and Public Safety on
December 17 at Max’s Restaurant in Dasmariñas. Dr. Myrna
Ramos will deliver the opening remarks, while Ms.
Bernadette Queppet, Director of Academic Linkages Office,
will be the emcee.On December 11, a testimonial dinner
was also held for the passers of the Licensure Examination
for Certified Public Accountants at the Days Hotel,
Tagaytay City. Students from the College of Business
Administration, who were winners in this school year’s
academic competitions, were also honored in the said
affair.

DLSU-D’s Lasallian Points N’ Flexes Dance Company
(LPFDC) defeated Ateneo De Manila University in a dance
showdown dubbed Frontact of the Sunday variety show
SOP on GMA 7, December 7.With LPFDC’s spirited
execution of the song Absolutely Not by Deborah Cox, the
dance group got more than 80 percent of the total votes
sent through text by SOP viewers and consequently
defeated Frontact’s three-week defending champion from
Ateneo.As Frontact’s new champion, LPFDC will defend its
title against new challengers. Frontact is SOP’s opening
salvo that features dance groups of different colleges and
universities.
