ICO is now MCO

The Institutional Communication Office (ICO) was first adapted in 1992, when DLSU-D was still DLSU-Aguinaldo, with the following functions: institutional imaging, publications, planning implementation and evaluation of institutional promotion for both print and broadcast media, and the management of institutional public.

Years have passed and the ICO has been doing far more than its initial functions. In a move to strengthen the University's image and identity, make a better way to reach internal and external publics and go with the trend in promoting the University, the ICO will now be officially known as the Marketing Communication Office (MCO), as approved by the Operations Council during its meeting on Sept. 8.

According to MCO, the functions of the office will not be affected by the name change. Rather, it would expand its scope of projects through utilization of newly explored marketing tools.

The office would still be true to its pledge to the University to create, build, and communicate.
