BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOLOGY

BS Biology Major in Human Biology

The BS Biology program major in Human Biology offers a competitive curriculum that aims to equip the students with knowledge on biological principles in preparation for medical courses.

BS Biology with concentration in Environmental Science

The BS Biology program with concentration in Environmental Science aims to develop students for careers in developmental education. This also aims to reinforce the scientific interest and skills of students by offering a wide selection of information on Biological and Environmental sciences in all its teaching-learning activities.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

This program trains students in the aspects of computing theory and practical applications of software systems. It deals profoundly with the underlying mathematical, algorithmic and logical foundations of Computer Science. The thrust of the program is to extensively prepare students to undertake Computer Science research and equip them with basic requirements to further studies in the graduate level.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

This program trains students in the areas of Information Technology (IT) theories, concepts and applications. It gives emphasis on two dynamic areas of IT, the networking and information systems. Likewise, it provides a practical approach in the study of various IT courses, thereby providing the students with essential skills to take on the role of industry information technologists. The goal is to provide students with a profound understanding of the entire spectrum of IT know-how so as to enable them to efficiently handle varying IT-related requirements.

Information Systems Manager – involved in the overall administration and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructures and resources

System Analyst – mainly concerned with the design, analysis and implementation of information systems using different software development methodologies

ASSOCIATE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

This is a two-year ladderized program for either the BS Computer Science or BS Information Technology degree. It consists of two tracks namely: the Certificate in Programming and Internet Technology and the Certificate in Programming and Cisco Networking Technology. The program aims to equip students with specialized computer technology skills that will provide them better employment opportunities.

Document Analyst – trained to encode program codes, index data and files for various clients

Certificate in Programming and Internet Technology

Web Master – responsible for planning, designing, and implementation of Internet and Web-based applications, content management systems for the web, as well as maintenance of such systems

Web Programmer – involved with the development, coding and testing of Internet and web-based applications

Management Information System Assistant – help in the implementation, administration and maintenance of various information systems solutions
