Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics

     Bachelor in Mathematical Science is primarily designed to prepare graduates for business, industry, government, and teaching institutions.  Furthermore, an appropriate choice of electives can ensure the students a solid preparation for graduate work in mathematics, statistics and scientific computing. 

     Specifically, the program demonstrates the utility of mathematics to solve problems arising in real industrial applications. Graduates will be qualified for professional careers in computational applications of mathematics, statistics and other related fields.

Objectives:

     To produce academically competent professionals in the field of mathematics who are locally as well as globally competitive and who can greatly contribute to the manpower needs of the country.

     To develop innovative and creative individuals through researches and applications of principles of mathematics, statistics and scientific computing by exposure to real industrial works.

     To enhance among students the qualities of a true Lasallian by helping them recognize the need for community involvement.

     To train students in the field of research analysis, statistics and mathematics education.
