VISION-MISSION OF THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE

Guided by the Lasallian core values of faith, zeal in service and communion in mission, the College of Science aims to produce academically competent graduates both locally and globally, and who can greatly contribute to the manpower needs of the country; to develop innovative and creative thinkers through researches, especially in the areas of mathematics, computer and natural sciences; and to enhance among the learners the qualities of a true Lasallian by helping them recognize the community not as a subject or laboratory for learning but as a venue to reach for the less fortunate.

THE COS GRADUATE STUDIES

The COS Graduate Studies is the unit of the College of Science that prepares graduate students to become highly competent in relevant aspects of Biology and Mathematics through its MS Biology and MA Mathematics programs.

The MS Biology program provides a well- rounded education in the life sciences through scientific researches, field exposure and laboratory works; and classroom interactions.

The MA Mathematics program offers scholarly instruction in mathematics education through the use of mathematical theories and applications in computing; through extensive research; and through the adoption of modern trends on mathematics.
