Physical Education Department

Guidelines

  1. PHED 101 is a pre-requisite subject. Students who fail PHED 101 shall not be allowed to enroll in other P.E. subjects.
  2. PHED 101 and PHED 103 are offered during the first semester, while PHED 102 and PHED 104 are offered during the second semester. PHED 202 is offered during the 1st and 2nd semesters.
  3. PHED 202 is compulsory for all students.
  4. Students are allowed to take only one P.E. subject each semester and they must finish their P.E. subjects within the first two years of study at DLSU-Dasmariñas.
  5. The grade in P.E. is included in the computation of the Grade Point Average (GPA).
  6. Varsity team members are excused from taking P.E. subjects but are supposed to enroll in the required P.E. subjects as well.
  7. Performing Arts Group (PAG) members and ROTC officers are excused from taking PHED 102/103 and PHED 104 subjects but they are supposed to enroll the required P.E. subjects as well. They are required to take PHED 101 and PHED 202.
  8. Varsity, PAG members and ROTC officers are required to attend three meetings within the Prelim Period before they can be excused from attending their PE class.
  9. Students with physical disabilities may take the Adapted Physical Education program. Medical certificate duly signed by the school physician is required.
