Admission Requirements

1. Original and two photocopies of his/her transcript of records.
2. Accomplished application form
3. Two letters of recommendation from previous professors or employers
4. Two copies of 2 x 2 picture
5. An interview with the CLA GS director and/or CLA Dean
6. Satisfactory test results in the Graduate Admission Examination

Additional Requirements for PhD in Language Education

1. An MA in Teaching English, Language, Literature or Communication or its equivalent degree. Transferees shall be admitted to the program as long as they come from at least a level one accredited university.
2. At least one year of teaching or administrative experience in language education or any related position/designation.
3. If items 1 and 2 are not satisfied, 9 units of bridging courses will be required. A course taken from another school with similar or the same description may be credited in the graduate program. A maximum of fifteen (15) units shall be credited.
