Santiago Alvarez Hall Santiago Alvarez, born on July 25, 1872 in Imus , Cavite. Emreged as the formost "Hero of Dalahican". The elaborate batteries he built at Dalahican kept away the Spaniards for about a year until Gov. and Capt. Gen. Ramon Blanco sent in 3,000soldiers into it resulting in a more than 1,000 enemy casualties, and the wounding of Alvarez He obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the Liceo de Manila after Filipino-American War.
