Your one peso can give access to Lasallian education
Piso para sa Iskolar is a university wide campaign aimed at generating funds for the 2011 scholarship vision, a milestone project to celebrate the centenary of the Lasallian Brothers’ presence in the Philippines. Initiated by the Office of the President, through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Mission , External Affairs and Development, this project aims to realize the 10-million scholarship fund goal from 2008-2011. Piso para sa Iskolar bottles will be stationed at designated areas per college and in all offices. Students, faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to drop one peso a day in the bottles beginning June 9, 2008. To show appreciation to this generosity, the college and the office with the highest collected donations will be awarded quarterly with a certificate. The audit team, composed of the Vice Chancellor for Mission, Development and External Affairs, the controller, and a student representative, will take charge of counting the total amount. Eventually, at the end of the campaign period in 2011, the college with the highest collection will earn the most number of slots for scholars while the office that registers the highest amount will earn additional scholarship slots for dependents.
This is another juncture to be one as a caring community and to help provide the deserving youth an access to Lasallian education.
So drop a peso and support our scholars!
