The Communication Arts Department, in coordination with the International Center for Communication Studies (ICCS), will hold its 2nd and 3rd International Journalism Educational Tours on October 14-18, 2008 in Hong Kong, and October 27-31 in Singapore, respectively. The conferences will provide venues for media and business students, educators and practitioners for the advancement and essential evaluation of communication practices in the field of international journalism.

ICCS delegates will visit various international news organizations and will listen to lectures to be delivered by distinguished media practitioners from BBC, Reuters, Time Magazine, The Asian Wall Street Journal, MTV-Singapore, Discovery Channel, The Straits Time, Mediacorp, Bloomberg Television, Associated Press Television Network, HK University, and Nanyang University, among others.

The delegation will be limited to 50-70 participants only and those who are interested will be accommodated on a first-come-first-served basis.
