The students’ welfare is being nurtured fundamentally by De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D).

DLSU-D occupies a sprawling 27-hectare campus in Dasmariñas, Cavite, 30 kilometers south of Manila via the coastal road along Manila Bay and the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway. Known for its spacious campus and its luscious green environs, DLSU-D is immediately noted by first-time visitors to be peaceful and relaxing. Aside from its verdant surroundings, state-of-the-art facilities such as the library, science laboratories, museum complex, and athletic facilities altogether inspire focused learning.

Centered on the Lasallian values, DLSU-D is devoted to history, spirituality, culture and the arts, and has been a leading academic institution in the CALABARZON. The university likewise engages in community outreach projects, spiritual formation activities, and cultural enrichment and environmental protection programs.

Having earned CHED’s grant of the autonomous status, PAASCU’s level three reaccreditation and the university’s citations (Center of Development for Excellence in IT Education and Academic Center For Excellence in Biodiversity Conservation), DLSU-D sustains excellence in academics and services it provides. The institution also maintains academic and professional linkages with international and local universities and organizations. In addition, the outstanding performance of its graduates in licensure exams and the various recognition that students and faculty receive mark the zeal brought about by Lasallian education and training. Furthermore, full-time and part-time faculty are highly competent educators mostly holding graduate degrees or persisting in earning post graduate studies. The university also prides itself as an institution that maintains a well-planned faculty development program geared towards further enhancing faculty competence.

The university encourages the well-rounded development of its students. While classes and other lectures strengthen academic excellence, the Office of Student Services (OSS) takes care of extra-curricular activities and student development programs. When it comes to community development, educational, livelihood and health projects are carried out by the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC), the university’s lead unit in implementing such programs. The university also ensures continuous spiritual development among the members of the academic community through the joint efforts of the Campus Ministry Office (CMO), the University Lasallian Family Office (ULFO) and the university’s religious education programs.

Committing itself to the Lasallian mission of educating the youth, the university reaches out by offering academic scholarships and educational assistance to students through the Scholarship Program for Educational Assistance and Development (SPREAD).
