The office supervises the various programs, projects, and offices relevant to the academic functions of the University.

     To disseminate information regarding important decisions, the Office of the VCAR publishes DLSU-Dasmariñas Academia twice a month. This publication wishes to provide accurate and clear information on the various decisions, advisory, and instructions coming from the Office of the VCAR and the councils and committees it chairs.

     Academia or academe refers to the aggregation of learning and research institutions, especially universities. The term descended from Plato Academy, and academia referred to as “the academy,” suggests that today’s universities are a continuation of the very same institution that Plato founded.
