Nature of the Association
The DLSAA DLSU-D Chapter, Inc. is a non-stock, non profit organization formed and operated in the public interest to undertake, primarily, educational and secondarily, charitable, social, civic and other similar programs with the end in view of fulfilling the ideals of the De La Salle University System in accordance with the articles of incorporation, by-laws and rules thereof, any amendment hereto. Sources of Funds for the Operation of the Association: The association relies mainly on donations, gifts, bequests or contributions from its members as the source of funds for its operations. Presently, the main source of fund of the association is the alumni fee paid by the graduates.The association is also empowered to acquire, own, develop, operate, exchange, sell or lease personal or real properties and to invest, re-invest and expand both the principal fund and its interest income for the purposes of the association.
Goals and Objectives of the Association
As a chapter of the De La Salle Alumni Association (DLSAA), the association seeks to:1. Promote a closer union and confraternity among its members so that they may be able to mutually assist and look after each other;2. Promote, through membership in the chapter, an esprit de corps among the alumni and those who have studied in DLSU-Dasmariñas;3. Encourage and cultivate cooperation between its members and DLSU-D and to provide financial, professional, and any other assistance to the university in helping to achieve its mission;4. Group the members into an alert and progressive body of civic-spirited men and women who shall strive always and ever to serve God and country;5. Establish scholarships for other deserving students to be able to avail of an education at DLSU-D; and 6. Provide communication linkages among alumni through the Alumni Update and other forms of communication.
Management and Operations of the Association
A Board of Trustees chosen by the members will manage the association. No member of the Board will derive any dividend or pecuniary benefit from the association. Moreover, the association will limit its operating and administrative expenses to not more than thirty percent (30%) of donations, gifts or contributions received during the fiscal year.
Membership
The following are qualified to become members of the association:
1. Graduates of DLSU-Dasmariñas;
2. Honorary degree conferees of DLSU-Dasmariñas;
3. Those who have studied but not necessarily graduated for the equivalent of at least two (2) years in DLSU-D;
4. Members of the faculty who have served for the equivalent of two years in DLSU-D;
5. Graduates of the university prior to its acquisition by De La Salle University System (GEAC-Cavite and EAC-Cavite); and
6. Non-Lasallians who, because of meritorious service and/or concern/involvement in the activities and/or projects of DLSAA DLSU-D Chapter, Inc., are confirmed membership by the Board of Trustees. At present, we have at least 10,321 alumni

7. Discounts in certain establishments Aside from this, the alumni cardholders can enter the university premises and use the following facilities: 1. The Alumni ID card entitles an alumnus/alumna to the use of all library facilities in accordance with its guidelines for users. However, the use of library materials should be confined inside the library building. 2. The gymnasium (Palaruang La Salle), auditorium, chapel, and conference room are also available for reservation and use by the alumni. 3. The alumni may use the swimming pool at a reduced swimming fee (with 20% discount). As this facility is primarily used for instructional purposes, the alumni may place their reservation for its use only during week ends.
